Fault Detection and diagnostics is a common terminology for automated system capability of detecting system faults. In the literature many systems has been tested and software packages has been made, still a generic system or package is yet to be formalized. Each building brings together a set of challenges which differ from one building to another. In this service we have survey the building design and systems to minimize this uncertainty by providing a customized system of FDD routines for every building, the rule is to survey the building and its BMS, EMAC etc. ,finalize the investment in retrofitting new sensor if the client wishes to get further value add. Install and map the sensors and map it to the the various continuous commissioning modules.

Generally for application of the universal laws of thermodynamics i.e. energy and mass balance are applied to get an understanding the parameters of various processes. For an air handling system, understanding the fact that many form of these system exits, one need to actually go on site and decide the minimum point needed to fulfill the needs of the calculation. The identification of existing sensor bank and minimization of new installation is generally done by a specialist who understands the dynamics of the continuous commissioning functionalities and has an understanding of various forms of air handling system.
